Credit Cards: What Are Their Uses?

Credit cards are cards issued by banks to people for the purpose of making purchases through the card while also paying back the money used in full at the end of every month. A credit card can be co-branded.

Standard credit cards: Also known as the plain vanilla credit cards because they have no rewards. What this means is that if you do not want a card that comes with rewards, this card is meant for you. They are very easy to use. The credit card can be use to make purchase and loaded up again when you make deposit.

Balance credit cards: This type of credit card is used for making balance transfer on a credit card to another card, mostly to a new card. It offers low introductory rate and thus, it is the idea credit card for people who wants to save funds on high interest rate.

Rewards Credit Card: There are basically three types of rewards credit card namely; travel, cashback, and point. This type of credit cards offers rewards to cardholders on every credit card purchase. The travel reward is most popular among travelers because they can use it to get free flights, free hotel accommodation, and some other travel needs. The cashback reward is very simple and flexible. The point reward can be exchanged for cash or other things. Charge Cards: Typically, charge cards have no spending limit. However, all balances must be paid completely at the end of every month. Late payment may require paying a fee, restrictions or simply canceling of the card.

Charge credit cards: This type of credit cards has no spending limit but, the amount pent on the card must be paid in full at the end of every month to prevent card restrictions, cancellation or penalty fee.

Charge cards: this card comes with no spending limit thus, allowing the cardholder to spend as they wish. It terms include that all balances be paid in full at the end of the month. Failure to pay up all balances at the end of the month comes with penalty which could be card cancellation, restrictions, or a fee.

Subprime credit card: this is designed for people with poor credit history. The card has a very strict terms and even at that, majority of people with poor credit history still prefers to have the card.

Student credit cards: This type of card is available for college students who does not have any credit history. These cards are easily approved to students who are just applying for the card for the first time.

It is more preferable to carry than cash

They can be used in all currency

Credit cards and co-branded credit cards are great options for everyone. Using a credit card comes with lots of offers.
